my day, in a nutshell:
7:30 a.m. millage committee meeting. last one. and there was much rejoicing. YAY!
9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. boredom. total, all-consuming boredom. much e-mail checking.
1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. lunch. yeah, i’m a schmuck for continually cheating and taking an extra thirty minutes for lunch. sue me. i did get my new tori cd in the mail today though. i haven’t formed an opinion of it yet, but…
3:00 p.m. - 3:10 p.m. talking to my boss outside of city hall. he is a comical dude. i really hope the millage passes so i can continue working for him. out of all the bosses i’ve ever had, he’s the absolutely best one.
3:12 p.m. - 4:57 p.m. more surfing of internet. and i made a copy of something. and answered the phone a couple of times. listened to aforementioned tori cd, but couldn’t really hear it because i’m paranoid about turning the speakers up too loud. the acoustics in city hall are sorta bizarre; i won’t be able to hear my music while sitting in my office, but if i leave and go to the copier, i can hear it all loud and clear. i’m sure people don’t appreciate that, but what can i do?
5:00 p.m. - 6:43 p.m. dinner and conversation with mother.
and then i did some other random crap. and now i’m here.
but i think i’m gonna be done now. i’ve got some stuff to work on.
