what’s goin’ on?
oh, hey… i’ve been forgetting to update. whoops. here’s the deal, in one messy paragraph:
i bought three cd’s at a thrift store on saturday. they were of the genre (i don’t know if you have one that’s similar) “i think i want to listen to this cd, but i don’t actually want to pay money for it.” i got all three of them for under seven dollars, and basically, i’m glad i didn’t pay more money. i also bought a cowboy hat on saturday. it’s… really something. i started doing pilates on sunday. my muscles hurt, but in a good way. yesterday, i started training my replacement at work. whatever. she’s a nice kid. but it’s weird to do things and then have to explain why i’m doing them and how i do them so she’ll know how to do stuff when i’m gone. my boss also informed me that on friday, we’re having cake in honor of me. this is the first thing he’s said to me about the fact that i’m leaving. at least it’s nice. i don’t like cake that much, but i heard that there will also be ice cream involved. oh. yes. i have developed a crush on this guy who comes into the place where i’m working mornings… a guy who will be referred to from here on out as “hot sports camp boy”. today we had a conversation about glenn miller, and he smiled at me and said “‘in the mood’ is a good song” and i grinned back and i got that delicious crush feeling and i felt twelve. awesome. and dumb. and awesome. ok, really. my muscles really hurt. today i wore new earrings. they are opal. and i loooooove them. i also wore a new skirt. it is black and it has embroidery on it. and i loooooove it. my hair also looked fab. some days, i heart myself. i think i’ll paint my toenails tonight with that gold shimmery polish i have. i read an article about how black is out and color is in, which makes me happy because i’m breakin’ out the purple eyeliner, baby! tonight i think i’ll write something. i feel good. i asked the magic 8 ball if hot sports camp boy and i would end up making out and it said, “as i see it yes”.
and over all this, the jesus action figure smiles.
