the glass melangerie*

Okay, so I’ll be honest and tell you that I don’t even know what to write about, but since I said I’d update once a week, I’m sitting here trying to come up with something. Of course, sitting here trying to come up with something looks remarkably like me sitting here listening to that one Usher song (shut up) and staring into space.

Whatever.

I’ll just write some things that pop into my head and call it good. How does that sound? Of course, you can’t answer that question until you read what I write, because lord knows, it might not be good at all. But I live for surprises, so here goes:

1. Well, I have put up a new (and as of now unlinked anywhere except here) page on my site: gallery o’random, which is pretty much what it sounds like. It’s a collection of things I do when I’m acting all creative-like. I will say that I think I’ve gotten a little too into the earring making venture, because sometimes when I’m in bed, in those hazy moments before I fall asleep, I will catch myself thinking about beads. I’m not sure that’s normal, but then, this is me, so yeah.

2. Although it is a completely unproductive exercise, it makes me feel better about things when I flip off Bush/Cheney billboards as I drive past them.

3. I usually don’t remember my dreams, but lately I’ve been having really vivid ones about my job. They’re always terrible, in which everything goes horribly awry and I’m just left sitting at the conference table, shaking my head and repeating the eternal question, “Why?” I’m not sure, but I think this might be a bad sign.

4. Maybe I should try an SRC.

5. For old times’ sake, here’s some spam from today:
Discount Tie Connection - 3 Ties for 3 Dollars
Okay seriously, when did they get so uncreative? Discount Tie Connection? Discount Tie Connection? Are the days of being spammed by the likes of Elvis H. Wang gone forever? What is the world coming to, huh?

*Yeah, I know.
