various & sundry
Without a doubt, the past few days have been the best ever in my entire life. Perhaps I exaggerrate slightly, but they’ve been really nice. Why? Well, because I did nothing. The days were dull, they were uneventful, I didn’t really talk to anyone, and I just kinda laid around and watched TV. I even wore my pajamas all day on Friday. This is exactly what I’ve been needing for the past several months, and it was a wonder bordering on euphoric to have some real time OFF without having to go anywhere or do anything or be responsible or figure things out or any of those other things that I get so tired of. Oh, how I’ve missed you, all-encompassing boredom. We should really get together more often.
In other news, we here in Michigan had the first snow of the season on Wednesday. I generally hate snow (and will, I’m sure, really hate it about six weeks from now), but it was beautiful and I’m crazy so I went outside and froze my fingers while taking pictures of it. Some of the better ones are here (click to enlarge):
What else? Well, as I said, I’ve been blissfully lazy so there isn’t much to report. I bought some beads and thought about making Christmas presents, but Christmas is not quite a month away, so that’s plenty of time to procrastinate and freak out. And that’s pretty much all. I’m thrilling, I know.
