…thoughts i had this morning before or while getting ready for work, after having woken up at 3:49 a.m. for no good reason, and not falling back to sleep until 20 minutes before my alarm went off, even though it’s totally my fault for thinking yesterday that it was not humanly possible to be more tired than i was right then. oh, silly me.
- Today, I think I would just like to pretend I’m dead.
- Okay, put the bowl in the sink and throw the fork away.
- (while standing near garbage can holding fork) No, put the fork in the sink and throw the bowl away.
- (while standing near kitchen sink, still holding fork) No, put the fork in the sink with the bowl. There. Got it, dumbass?
- Oh, my pajama pants have been on backwards all night long.
- I wonder if anyone will notice that I couldn’t find my hairbrush and had to resort to finger combing.
- Oh Christ, it’s only Tuesday.
- There’s no way I could possibly be that late already.
- Is ironing really necessary?
