if i were to write in paragraph form, these ideas would be more than numbered list items
- Today is Martin Luther King Day, which for many people is a day off, but for me, it is a national day of service, so I was, um, working. We had a fundraiser in the form of a bowl-a-thon, which I kept referring to as “Bowling for Martin” because I’m stupid that way.
- Lean Back. Lean Back. Lean Back. Lean Back.
- Mini Oreos are good. And mini. All at the same time. God bless America.
- I think I’m still slightly frozen from yesterday. I just turned the heat up, and it’s not making any difference. Bah.
- Yes, it’s true that the ringtone on my phone is currently “Careless Whisper”, and I secretly want everyone on the planet to call me all the time just so I can hear it. Is that a problem?
- I wish I could explain, but I’m not going to, so suffice it to say that I am so proud of myself for not even freaking out once, except that one time for just a little bit, and then I was totally over it.
- Fuck. I’m going to be unemployed in a month.
- You know, I watched the Golden Globes last night, and while I was totally sober at the time, I still can’t remember anything about them, except for the fact that Mick Jagger said “push up bra” during his acceptance speech.
- I also watched (and napped through) that tsunami concert on TV the other day, and I have come to the conclusion that Madonna should never be allowed to sing John Lennon. Ever. The man is already dead, so why was it necessary to kill him again? Dear Jesus, the torture. Also, Maroon 5 shouldn’t be allowed to sing. Or do anything that remotely involves performing what might loosely be defined as music. Seriously.
- I don’t know, maybe it’s crazy to say this, but sometimes I think my magic 8 ball isn’t entirely truthful with me.
