So, this morning, as I was perusing the news, I happened to read that Bono is, yet again, nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. Yeah.
I don’t get it. I mean, yes, I will admit that I have been known to like the occasional U2 song, and furthermore, I, like most people, own a copy of The Joshua Tree that I don’t listen to, but seriously. Bono? Nobel Peace Prize? What?
Martin Luther King, Jr. (1964) I understand. Mother Teresa (1979) I understand. The Dalai Lama (1989) I understand. Bono… I don’t understand. So, if you understand, please explainify it to me. Because. Yeah. Bono.
