yes, i am posting about scrabulous again
Yes, I know this is lame, but some things need to be documented for posterity (and besides, it’s not like I have anything else to write about today because I stayed home from work and pretty much did nothing other than sit around in my pajamas).
So. I just got 149 points for a single word in this game I’m playing with Peter (who was totally beating me before this):
It sort of takes the sting out of the other game I am losing by more than 100 points.
Still, my proudest achievement in that particular game was the time when I spelled “nudie”.
Even I was impressed by that score.
Granted, I would have been more impressed if you had scored it against someone else…

yeah, see…your cover’s totally blown now! jamelah, who started out our current game by stating that I was safe because she “pretty much always lose[s],” has thus far put down *two* bingos (where you get an extra 50 points for using all 7 tiles).
truthfully…I’ve *never* managed to play a bingo. I’ve managed to come up with 7-letter words plenty of times before, but never seem to find a place to put them.
When you do that against your nemesis, THEN I’ll be impressed…

Turns out I’m not great at Scrabulous. But I did once score 142 points in one shot. Thank you, Triple Word Score. One time I scored big on Peter and then I got complacent because I thought “I’ve got this game locked down!” so I quit paying attention to the score. Then he beat me by 3 points or something stupid like that.
I tell good stories when I’m on Vicodin! I’d better take another pill.
