yo

Published by jamelah at 9:27 am under Everything, jamelah.net-ish

I’m thinking about redesigning my site today because I think it’s time to switch things up (and the mostly-monthly banner-changing isn’t doing it for me anymore) and also because I need to brush up on my CSS skillz, so if it gets really weird-looking in here for awhile, that’s probably what’s happening. Of course, I may just change my mind about the whole thing and revert to this design… there’s really no telling what I’m going to do.

And now that I have you full of nervous anticipation (that’s it, right?) I’m going to go mess around with and probably also break things. Cheers.

UPDATE: Okay, done with that, and it wasn’t too painful. The end.

It’s either nervous anticipation or else I sat on a fork.

Thanks. I’m still messing with it a little bit because I can’t leave well enough alone, but I should be done… eventually.

I don’t know if you’re looking for constructive criticism, but the white text on light grey (for example, on “Leave a reply”) is pretty hard to read. Also, I don’t know if I’m missing the font you’re using for comment dates, but it looks kinda scrunched. These could also be browser related (I’m a safari nut). Other than that, the layout and color scheme is quite pleasant.
