I don’t come to your blog looking for “Little Things”. But I’m glad other people do, or I would not have just had that proverbial punch in the gut upon reading it. So thank you. And I enjoyed your postcard stories.
I used to have the text up on an older version of my site to illustrate something about flash fiction (this was years ago, so I don’t remember what, exactly), and I’ve noticed over the past six weeks or so that there sure are a lot of people landing here in the hopes of reading it. I figure I can at least send them in the right direction. It’s brilliantly written to get all of that in less than 500 words, but reading it also makes me feel a bit ill.
So, you’re welcome. Also, thanks — glad you enjoyed the postcard thing.

Wow. His life was short and succint, just like his writing. Amazing.
