Today I made a hat. I’d never made a hat before. Blankets, sure. Scarves, of course. Hats, nope. But today I made one. It took maybe a couple of hours and about half of a small skein of yarn. For awhile I was pretty sure I was making a really colorful doily. But I stuck with it and hey, what do you know? It really did turn into a hat:
Good thing, since I’m supposed to donate it to the cancer center, and I’m not sure they’re in need of many doilies.
